Set up livemap
Script configuration
First, you should start by setting up the LiveMap in the VPC Connector-FiveM.
Here you will find two settings: Config.LivemapAktive This setting activates the LiveMap and must (if you want to use it) be set to true. Config.ItemMap Here you can set whether an item is required. If so, enter the item name (e.g. gpstracker). Means that if an item is set here, the officer is only displayed as soon as he has this item in his inventory.
Config.IDMap Here you can specify which identifier should be used for the livemap (which must therefore also be entered in the officer administration). Attention this function is only available from VPC-Connector-FiveM-V3.0.0 or newer!
Connection to the database sync
Now you go in CopNet under Settings to the point Livemap Setup. There you have to enter the credentials for the DB connection similar to the sync for your files.
In the Table name field you must specify vpcLS. If you are unsure how to set this up, please refer to the help in the Database section.
Once everything is set up, press the Save and Test button. If everything has worked, no error message will appear. → In case of an error message, it is also best to look in the Database section. Last but not least, press the Activate Livemap button.
The basic setup is now complete.
Officer linkage
To do this, go to Manage Officer and select the officer you want to edit. In the Steam ID field, you must now enter the corresponding ID. Please note that you set the required identifier in the config itself.
The spelling in general is always done with the desired identifier and then the ID. For example steam:0000000 or fivem:0000000. To find out the ID of the officer easier, we have added a few functions in the script.look at ingame commands.
Done, you can now use the livemap.
